Lappkärrsberget - Lappis here we come!

After monitoring and scrutinising the Stiftelsen Stockholms Studentbostäder - SSSB website for the past few months, we have finally confirmed our accommodation in Sweden! SSSB is a public utility housing foundation in Sweden which allows students to make accommodation bookings online, it's very user-friendly and hassle-free. Somehow it reminded me of the NUS online CORS bidding system but the SSSB is much stable compared to CORS, at least it does not crash. One important thing to note is that you need to accumulate a relatively high number of credit days to attain your top choice apartment. The greater number of credits days you have, the higher the chance of getting the studio of your choice. So if you are planning to get a student studio in Stockholm sometime in the future, do login to the SSSB website asap!
Anyways, wanna thanks RJ for making the effort to apply to the masters program in Stockholm. In Jan this year, he diligently filled up 8 masters program applications forms and check out websites for scholarships/ jobs to study/ work in Stockholm. Guess his efforts have finally paid off and he is going to Stockholm with me this fall!
He has been admitted to a 1 year Master's Programme in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at a university in Stockholm, Sweden. It is KTH (Kungliga Tekniska Hogskolan) - The Royal Institute of Technology and it's about 3 km away from Karolinska Institutet! Yeah!
Map of KI, KTH and Lappis.
Where we will be staying - Lappkärrsberget - Lappis, Forskarbacken 17 / 0102.
Wanna thanks Cheun Seng ( a fellow Singaporean who is finishing up his PhD in KI), Lasse and Eva from Cao's lab who have given me invaluable tips on accommodations in Sweden! All the best for your thesis defense, Chuen Seng!
