Idyllic town - Norrtälje on 24 Aug, Sun

The 1st period of school is over for me and finally time to clear some backlog and put up some photos of our little excursions a few months ago!

Norrtälje (pronounced nor-tell-ye) is about 60km NE of Stockholm and we went by an hour bus ride. It was quite a wrong choice to go on Sunday as somehow the shops were mostly closed. Nonetheless, we had a good time picking free apples lying on the gardens or left outside people's doors for anyone to pick up - seemingly because their trees produce too much that they can't finish them themselves! So nice rite?

Also found another nice cafe called en liten smula (A Little Bit)! LQ liked the decor (had some heart-shaped tables and seats) and the way there was outdoor sitting on 3 different floors. So we ordered some pastries and coffee as usual while having our lunch of meatballs and ham prepared by LQ...

There were also nice look-out points on a hill where you can get a view of the town; and also go to enjoy what was left of summer then by getting close to the sea/river and soaking in the sun...

See me up on a truck? Its the Pythagoras Museum, which is housed inside a former diesel engine factory. Well the place gave us a photo which LQ absolutely loved - with the vermillion gates and blue skies...
At the end of our walk, we came across a nice church and once again I was reminded of what my 2-Christian aunts told me when they gave me ang-baos while wishing me well for my stay overseas....!
